26th February 2021

University Centre Quayside (UCQ) are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a Bronze Award from the North East Better Health at Work Awards.

The Better Health At Work Award recognises the efforts of employers in the North East and Cumbria in addressing health issues within the workplace. Not only does it recognise the achievements, it all helps organisations move forward in a structured and supported way.

Commenting on the award, Michelle Elliott, Vice Principal of UCQ, said: “We are so proud to have been awarded the Bronze Award. The wellbeing of our staff – both mental and physical – is really important to us. Everyone within our team should feel proud as we continue in our efforts to promote a healthy and balanced working lifestyle.
