UCQ Essential Work Skills

Essential Work Skills

Through strong links with partner organisations and employers, UCQ deliver a range of focussed, vocationally specific, essential skills to those seeking employment and those wishing to up-skill.

Our courses prepare students for working in their chosen sector, help them gain an understanding of what employers expect of them and provide support in finding sustainable employment or career progression.

Amazon - Wynyard

Wynyard, Billingham, is Amazon’s latest Tees Valley fulfilment centre. Opened in Spring 2022, it created 1,000 permanent jobs for people in the region. This depot follows the first in Darlington and second in Durham.

UCQ can help you increase your chances of securing employment at sites like these with our Essential Skills for Warehousing course which is fully funded.
