Academic Support Tutor (Maternity Cover although possibility of permanent position)
We continue growing our HE team and are recruiting a highly motivated, organised and experienced academic support tutor to cover maternity. The successful applicant will support the academic development and skills, educational support needs and functional skills of our HE students. This post is aimed at driving improvements in academic performance and achievement of modules, the degree and apprenticeship.
This post is part of a progressive and dedicated Higher Degree Apprenticeship delivery team, who put student success at the centre of everything they do. The HE Academic Support Tutor will work closely with whole team guiding on issues of individual student support as well as being responsible for all programme wide developments that facilitate academic skills development.
Hybrid delivery is undertaken via MS Teams and includes workshops, group sessions, and 1:1 tutorials. You may be required to attend the occasional face-to-face session, including induction and annual learning fair.
Working closely with other members of the HE team, curriculum managers and operations, applicants should have a proven track record of effectively delivering academic skills at Level 6 and Level 7.
Applicants should be focused, agile and responsive and be qualified to the required standard. Business Development Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Business Development Manager to engage with businesses and manage business relationships across the Tees Valley, to offer a range of learning and development solutions in sectors including manufacturing, warehousing, construction, logistics and storage.
This post requires the applicant to generate new business using a range of business development strategies and activities, to grow the number of employers, across Tees Valley, with whom we work. Through our range of work-based training programmes and funded options, we can support employers to upskill existing staff and recruit to new positions.
Applicants should have a proven track record of successfully engaging with employers in both strategic and operational activities in priority sectors. In addition to outstanding customer service, applicants should have experience of achieving challenging targets, deadlines and outputs. Experience of work-based learning is an advantage.

Lecturer: Leadership and Management
We are growing our HE team and recruiting a highly motivated, organised and experienced lecturer to support the successful delivery of CMDA and Senior Leader apprenticeships. Apprentices are located across the UK with delivery undertaken via MS Teams including workshops, group sessions, 1:1 tutorials, reviews, observations and other assessment methods.
Working closely with the HE team, curriculum managers and operations, applicants should have a proven track record of effectively delivering lecturers in Leadership and Management at Level 6 and Level 7.
This post has a associate contact where you will be home-based.
