Distance Learning

UCQ offers a range of distance learning courses to meet the needs of those unable to access traditional classroom-based delivery. Students who enrol on programmes are given the option of studying via paper-based materials or online resources, available through a distance learning e-portfolio system.

Following Information, Advice and Guidance, a dedicated distance learning tutor is allocated to each student to guide them through their programme, providing curriculum expertise, support, marking and robust feedback on each module.  Successful completion leads to students achieving a Level 2 qualification.

Eligibility

Courses are available if you are 19+ and eligibility is dependent on your home postcode.  Tees Valley residents can access the courses fully-funded; North of Tyne residents, if employed or furloughed, can access the courses fully funded.  Contact us if you need further clarification.
