Principles of Team Leading
Course Overview
This qualification will provide you with the knowledge and understanding required to successfully lead a team. You will develop knowledge around the principles of team leading and the general workings of a business as well as how important it is for a team leader to be able to successfully communicate with a range of stakeholders.
You will complete the following units:
Unit 1: Principles of team leading
Unit 2: Understand business
Unit 3: Understand how to communicate work-related information
Unit 4: Understand how to manage performance and conflict in the workplace
Unit 5: Principles of equality and diversity in the workplace
Unit 6: Understand how to develop working relationships with colleagues
Unit 7: Understand health and safety procedures in the workplace
Unit 8: Understand how to develop and deliver a presentation
This course is aimed at individuals who are, or who are wanting to, become a team leader role in all aspects of work, educational, healthcare, retail, office setting. This can allow the learner to progress to a senior role and should be completed with Safeguarding, Equality and Diversity and Mental health problems.
In addition to the skills you will develop throughout your distance learning programme you will also develop a range of transferable skills including communication skills, time management and digital skills.

Course Information
Title: Principles of Team Leading
Duration: Up to 10 weeks, however, flexible to meet individual need.
Upon successful completion of a programme, students will achieve the TQUK Level 2 qualification

Start date are flexible; students can enrol throughout the year and study at a time and place to suit their circumstances.
