Safeguarding, Prevent and British Values
This course will equip you with a detailed understanding of how to recognise and prevent radicalisation and extremism, the principles of safeguarding, the Prevent duty and its importance in society, and the importance of online safety and British Values.
You will complete the following units:
Unit 1: Principles of safeguarding
Unit 2: The prevent duty and its importance in society
Unit 3: The importance of online safety
Unit 4: The importance of British Values
This course is suitable for a number of disciplines including healthcare, offices, schools & other educational settings and the general public can benefit from this course to understand and develop their skills and become a safeguarding officer.
In addition to the skills you will develop throughout your distance learning programme you will also develop a range of transferable skills including communication skills, time management and digital skills.

Duration: Up to 10 weeks, however, flexible to meet individual need.
Upon successful completion of a programme, students will achieve the TQUK Level 2 qualification
