Course Overview

UK employers are often looking to improve both equality and diversity within their companies, so having an equality and diversity qualification is a great addition to any CV. 

This qualification aims to promote your social awareness and good practice in equality and diversity in any setting, including the workplace, the community, at home and in society. 

The course is aimed at anyone with an interest in Equality and Diversity including individuals working in healthcare, education and volunteering settings.  Once you have completed this programme you can progress to other programmes including Safeguarding and can become an Equality and Diversity Champion in the workplace.

During the course you will cover the following units:

Unit 1: Valuing Equality and Diversity in Society

Unit 2: Equality and Diversity in the Community

Unit 3: Equality and diversity in the Workplace

In addition to the skills you will develop throughout your distance learning programme you will also develop a range of transferable skills including communication skills, time management and digital skills.

Course Information

Title: Equality and Diversity

   Duration: Up to 10 weeks, however, flexible to meet individual need.  

   Upon successful completion of a programme, students will achieve the TQUK Level 2 qualification (601/3379/X)

  • Personal motivation and organisation skills
  • Research

   Start date are flexible; students can enrol throughout the year and study at a time and place to suit their circumstances.

  Each student will receive a dedicated tutor who will provide regular remote delivery supported by paper-based or online/interactive study guide and assessment pack.

   Study Format: Paper-based or online study pack; tutorials; work activity; assessment and robust feedback.
