University Centre Quayside (UCQ) has been awarded the prestigious We invest in People platinum accreditation by Investors in People.
Platinum is the highest level of accreditation possible to achieve on our We invest in people accreditation.
It means policies and practices around supporting people are embedded in every corner of UCQ. And in a platinum company, everyone – from the CEO to a customer services apprentice – knows they have a part to play in the company doing well, and is always looking for ways to improve.
Commenting on the award, Michelle Elliott, Vice Principal of UCQ, said: “We are all extremely proud to have been awarded the prestigious We invest in People platinum accreditation – building on the gold accreditation awarded in 2020. I would like to thank my colleagues for their hard work in securing this prestigious achievement and their continued efforts to improve the business.”
Stuart Cameron, Director of Executive Education of UCQ, said: “Being awarded We invest in People platinum accreditation, is a fantastic achievement, one which I know the team are incredibly proud of. To those organisations that entrust UCQ to develop the strategic capabilities of their current and future managers, this achievement demonstrates that your staff are in the hands of an organisation that walks the walk.”
Paul Devoy, CEO of Investors in People, said: “We’d like to congratulate University Centre Quayside. Platinum accreditation on We invest in people is a remarkable effort for any organisation, and places UCQ in fine company with a host of organisations that understand the value of people.”
