The Class of 2026 at University Centre Quayside (UCQ) gathered to celebrate their achievements at a memorable graduation ceremony held at the BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art on March 6th, 2026.
The event brought together graduates, family, friends, and faculty to mark this significant milestone, honouring the hard work and dedication of UCQ’s latest cohort of Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship (CMDA) graduates.
The ceremony was presided over by Dr Nick Mapletoft, Principal at UCQ, joined by members of the UCQ Board of Governors, senior leaders, colleagues, stakeholders, and honoured guests.
The guest address was delivered by Professor Yvonne Moogan PhD, MSc, BSc, PFHEA, Director of Bradford School of Management at the Faculty of Management, Sciences & Engineering, University of Bradford.
Michelle Elliott, Vice Principal at UCQ, commented:
“It was a wonderful day and it is such a pleasure to listen to the inspirational stories and successes achieved throughout their CMDA. Massive congratulations again to all our graduating students.”
This ceremony was not just a celebration of academic accomplishments, but a recognition of the graduates’ commitment to balancing work, family, and studies throughout their CMDA — a programme that combines on-the-job experience with high-quality academic learning, setting it apart from more traditional routes into higher education.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Class of 2026. Your dedication and perseverance have brought you to this moment, and we wish you every success in the next chapter of your careers.
